The PP of Arrecife has presented a motion, to be debated in the next plenary session, in which it requests that the certificates of residence and travel can be obtained via the internet.
The popular group makes this proposal, just after the Minister of Development, Ana Pastor, announced that the certificate of residence was going to be required to benefit from subsidies to travel and thus avoid possible fraud.
"The City Council has made a great effort in investment for new technologies in recent years," says the PP, which affirms that there are "applications and procedures that can be carried out online." For this reason, it considers that they must be put into practice, given the announcement that the registration certificate will be necessary "to benefit from subsidies to travel or to choose schools."
