Naviera Armas starts on Monday, December 10 with the Puerto del Rosario-Tarfaya line, which will be covered in 3 hours and 45 minutes by the ferry 'Assalama'. The new passenger and cargo service will depart from the port of Fuerteventura on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 1:30 p.m.
The return from the port of Tarfaya will be on Wednesdays and Fridays at 8:00 a.m. and on Sundays at 12:00 p.m.
The basic price in a seat for one way -one way or round trip- is about 49 euros and for a vehicle it is 97 euros. Those over 60 years of age and under 26 years of age will have a price lower than 45 euros.
There are round-trip discount packages for two, three, four and five passengers with a car. For example, for two people and a car the price is 372 euros, including round trip.
Passengers from Lanzarote, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro who want to travel to Tarfaya will only have to pay port fees until they reach Fuerteventura.
The official opening of the line is scheduled for January 12, 2008.
