The Cabildo of Lanzarote has decreed the concession of a direct nominated subsidy to the Teguise City Council for the execution of the "Plan of Actions in La Graciosa 2019" for an amount of 200,000 euros.
This economic item is included within the General Budgets of the corporation for 2019 that were recently approved and is destined to two actions and services on the island, specifically to the completion of the material execution of the building of the Sociocultural Center in Caleta de Sebo and to the provision of furniture.
The vice president and councilor of the Area, Jacobo Medina, points out that according to the project sent by the Teguise City Council, of the total subsidized 127,230 euros correspond to the execution of work and the rest to the acquisition of necessary furniture for said installation. According to the file itself, the objective of this subsidy is to be able to "culminate certain construction chapters that were pending when the center's reform began".
The work chapters to be executed will be the sanitation, the interior and exterior paving, the coverings and paintings, roof elements, carpentry, plumbing and sanitary ware, among others.
