The strong wind blowing this Wednesday in Lanzarote has forced several flights that were scheduled to land at the César Manrique airport to be diverted to Fuerteventura.
This is a Ryanair flight from Leeds in the United Kingdom, another one that came from Madrid and a third one from Manchester, according to Aena, have been diverted to the airport of Fuerteventura due to "adverse weather conditions at the destination." However, the company assures that in "one hour they are expected to fly to Lanzarote."
According to AEMET, at the airport station around 7:00 p.m., gusts of up to 78 kilometers per hour were being recorded.
