Technicians from the San Bartolomé Town Council moved this Wednesday to the civic centers of Güime and Montaña Blanca to present the main lines of the progress of the Supplementary General Plan of the municipality. The technicians explained to the residents the lines on which the drafting team is working, which proposes three proposals for each of the nuclei. From the Consistory they have insisted that the neighborhood participation in this document remains open, since suggestions can be submitted until May 14.
The mayoress of San Bartolomé, María Dolores Corujo and the Councilor for Urban Planning, Juan Carlos Rocío, attended the meeting together with other municipal councilors. "An interesting participatory process is open, in which we can all choose the urban model of the municipality. Therefore, it is very important that the neighbors are interested and present their suggestions, because the main lines of the future development of the municipality and what growth model we want will be established," said the first mayor.

On Friday, the residents of Playa Honda will receive the municipal technicians in the offices of the Town Hall, located on Merlín Street. They can go from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to clarify their doubts regarding the planning and to be able to make suggestions.
The Progress of the Supplementary General Plan of San Bartolomé and its environmental sustainability report are already in a period of public information and inter-administrative cooperation. The information is available to all residents at the Technical Office, located in the San Bartolomé Town Hall, on the bulletin board of the municipal offices of Playa Honda, in that of the Montaña Blanca Civic Center and in that of Güime.
In addition, those interested in learning about the progress have all the documentation online, on the municipal website. The General Directorate of Territorial Planning in Las Palmas and the citizen participation section of the website of the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Territorial Policy of the Government of the Canary Islands also includes all the information.
