Lanzarote Music Festival, music for solidarity purposes

Music can also be united with solidarity and this is the idea behind the Lanzarote Summer Music Festival, which will take place next Friday, August 29 at the Plaza de las Naciones, in Los Pocillos (Puerto del Carmen), and whose benefits will go entirely to the projects of Cáritas Lanzarote.

Precisely the twenty concerts that will take place throughout the day are organized by the A.D.C.R. Tiñosa (Tiguafaya) and Cáritas Lanzarote collective.

The event will also feature the installation of an agricultural and marine market (10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.), an international market (will remain from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.), a tourist information stand about the Island, as well as recreational activities for the little ones throughout the day.

The tent where the activities and concerts will take place will remain until midnight, where there will be various performances by groups such as Frankie & Hailey, Chrissy Looker & Miss Gerry B, Parranda "Chimia" or Skatoons among others, as well as various versions of Elvis (by John) or the performance of Robbie Williams songs offered by Scott Mc Q.

Cáritas Lanzarote, the organization to which all the benefits of the event will be destined, is the social action body of the Catholic Church, within which there is a project of Assistance and Promotion for Homeless People that is intended to be revitalized.
