Lanzarote has added another 309 positive cases of Covid in the last day, in which 913 tests were carried out on the island. Thus, the decrease in confirmed infections again coincides with a reduction in the number of tests, since more than 1,100 were carried out the day before.
According to the Ministry of Health, the active cases on the island already amount to 6,651, although there are discharges that continue to be registered with delay. In the case of this Tuesday, 251 have been reported.
Regarding the accumulated incidence, it has dropped almost 150 points in 7 days and is at 1,553 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. At 14 days, the decrease has been 25 points, and stands at 3,176 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 16,933 cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in Lanzarote, of which 10,219 have already overcome the disease and 64 have died, the last one this Wednesday.
