The Tías City Council has organized a symbolic recognition to the workers of the Tías Health Center and, by extension, of the entire Spanish health system, with a deployment of vehicles that toured the municipality.
The tour began at 7:00 p.m. in the Plaza del Varadero and toured some areas of Puerto del Carmen and then headed towards the town of Tías through the José Saramago roundabout, La Luchada street, Central Avenue and ended at the Health Center.
About twenty vehicles from the Local Police of Tías, Civil Guard, Civil Protection, Boluntis Volunteer Firefighters, Red Cross, SIA Lanzarote Ambulances and Emerlan showed their lights and sirens in an act of tribute and gratitude from the council and the entire population.
The Tías City Council publicly thanked "the availability and constructive service of the participants in this symbolic recognition and congratulated, once again, the health personnel of the island".
