The 'XVI San Bartolomé Theater Cultural Week' concludes its first seven days of performances in which the streets of the municipality and the stages of the Municipal Theater and Santa Elena Square, in Playa Honda, became the maximum exponents of the performing arts and hung the sign of "full capacity in each of the five performances" that took place.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, has congratulated the municipal groups "for the resounding success of the first days of the Theater Cultural Week" and highlighted the "incredible reception" that this edition is having among the neighbors, whom he has invited to "continue participating in the works" that will take place from this Tuesday, April 9, until Sunday, April 14, "and continue supporting local groups, thus thanking them for their work, effort and commitment."
For her part, the Councilor for Culture, Estefanía Luzardo, has highlighted "the excellent work and performance that the groups have had in the first five performances." In addition, she congratulated all the municipal staff and the groups "who are demonstrating, one more year, that San Bartolomé is a benchmark for the promotion of culture."
During the first days of the Theater Cultural Week, San Bartolomé was able to enjoy the performances of Comi-K Teatro, with 'Tinder', 'How bad it is to be good', by the Ajei Theater Group and 'I wasn't the one', by Teatreros y Comediantes', at the Municipal Theater, of the play 'Pirates al Caribe', by Timaginas Teatro in Playa Honda and of the Theatrical Route, by the Actúa Company. In addition, this Tuesday, April 9, the second week of performances will begin with the staging of 'La comunidad de la naranja', by SomoS Teatro, at 8:30 p.m.
On Thursday, April 11, at 8:30 p.m., the Chespir Theater Company will open the curtain of the play La Lección while on Saturday, April 13, at 8:30 p.m., it will be the turn of Raíces del Pueblo with the performance 'Taxi'.
The XVI Theater Cultural Week will end on Sunday, April 14, at 12:00 p.m., with the staging of 'La jungla swuinguera', by Cosquillas Musicales.
