The timple player from Tenerife, Beselch Rodríguez, and the singer from El Hierro, Claudia Álamo, accompanied by the musicians Diego Expósito on keyboards, Carlos Perdomo on electric bass and Quico León on percussion, presented their new joint work on Saturday night in La Graciosa, 'Women: from voice to the world',

The Avenida Virgen del Mar in Caleta de Sebo hosted the presentation concert of this work that Beselch Rodríguez and Claudia Álamo have taken to several stages on the islands. After the invitation extended by the councilor of the Teguise City Council in La Graciosa, Alicia Páez, they did not hesitate so that the inhabitants and visitors of the eighth island could enjoy this novel musical project, which has taken them several months of preparation selecting songs by women from different countries such as Mercedes Sosa, Alucia Keys, Lhasa, Luz Casal, Olga Cerpa and Gloria Stefan, among others.

They made musical arrangements to each of them, always respecting the root of origin, which have been interpreted by Claudia Álamo, leaving her velvety voice bare with very tuned timbres. For this, she has had the complicity of the timple in the hands of a master, Beselch Rodríguez, a great connoisseur of the small instrument.

The public of La Graciosa did not stop applauding throughout the concert and, when the moment of farewell arrived because they had finished the entire selected repertoire, Beselch and Claudia performed some folías alone, which were again rewarded with applause. The councilor delegate of La Graciosa, Alicia Páez, thanked them for accepting the invitation and congratulated them on the magnificent concert, which she described as unique.
