The 'Frame' photography contest, organized by the Veintinueve Trece Cultural Association and sponsored by the Youth Service of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, already has a winning image. This is the reproduction of a frame from the movie 'Carrie', made by Angie García Ochoa.
The jury's decision valued that the winning photograph not only faithfully recreated the frame from the series, but also took care of other important aspects, such as the lighting conditions of the scene, the setting, the costumes, and the makeup. It also highlighted the originality and complexity of the captured image.
In an event held at the CIC El Almacén, the Councilor for Youth of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Paula Corujo, presented the award to the winner, consisting of a Mirrorless photography kit. Corujo congratulated the author and thanked the young people for their participation in this contest that "has encouraged the approach of the young population to audiovisual content, taking the world of series, cinema, and video games as a starting point."
