César Manrique Airport has recorded a total of 706,946 passengers in September, which is equivalent to 5.7% more than those who arrived during the same month last year.
The group of Canary Islands airports registered a total of 4,085,616 passengers in September, 7.6% more than the same month of 2023.
Gran Canaria Airport registered the highest number of passengers, with 1,116,260, which represents 6.6% more than in September 2023. It is followed by Tenerife South Airport, with 997,800 passengers and an increase of 10.4%; and César Manrique.
The Tenerife North-Ciudad de La Laguna airport, meanwhile, registered 586,929 (+10.4%); Fuerteventura, with 516,815 (+5.1%); La Palma, with 119,226 (+4.9%); El Hierro, with 30,894 (+5.8%) and La Gomera, with 10,746 (+4.4%).
In addition, 37,538 aircraft movements were managed, 5.5% more than in the same month of 2023, and 2,579 tons of cargo were recorded, 5.9% more than in September last year.
The group of Canary Islands airports has registered 38,740,879 travelers so far this year, 9.3% more than in the same period of 2023.
Of the 38,488,057 commercial passengers, 16,102,350 traveled on domestic flights, 8.5% more, and 22,385,707 did so on international flights, 10.4% more than last year.
