La Tertulia de Biosfera TV has become the most followed and influential information space on local television, coinciding with the celebration of the first anniversary of the birth of the island's most popular television.
The program, which includes journalists Manu Riveiro, director of Diariodelanzarote.com and Alberto Acosta, from the Lanzarote Media group, to which Radio Lanzarote and Lavozdelanzarote.com belong, is moderated by Salvador Hernández, director of the network and is recognized as the most plural of the island's panorama.
In a relaxed atmosphere, but with rigor, La Tertulia analyzes the current affairs of the island daily and has the participation of guests with whom it tries to unravel the Lanzarote actuality.
In an entertaining way and with a simple and direct language, the journalists of La Tertulia provide the keys to the issues that concern citizens so that everyone can freely form their opinion.
Representatives of institutions and social groups parade daily through La Tertulia of all tendencies and ideologies, who are given a voice so that they can transfer to the society their concerns, which has made Biosfera TV an example of plurality at the service of society.
Biosfera Radiotelevisión began its official journey in Lanzarote at the beginning of June of the last year after the ownership of Nueve TV and Nueve Radio decided to abandon its multimedia project on the island.
The new project involved the transformation of both media, which in addition to its name, abandoned its provincial character to become island media focused on the defense of the interests of Lanzarote and very close to the citizens.
The multimedia project is headed by the journalist Salvador Hernández, who has been director of both media since its creation, 15 years ago and is a correspondent for the agency EFE in Lanzarote for 22 years.
During this time, Biosfera TV has been characterized by being a close and involved in the defense of the interests of Lanzarote and its grill has variety of local production programs, already well known on the island, such as "The Interview", "Volcán Motor", "Pa' la Cantina", "Agüita Agüita", "Manos a la Arena", "Minuto 90", "Biosfera Gourmet", "Deportivos Characters" or "De pura cepa".
